Pure white she-cat with a black ears and tail.
Detailed Appearance
Stoatwhisker's appearance is similar to that of a pure bred snowshoe cat. Thanks to her markings, she also resembles a European Stoat in winter. She has the build of a large Maine Coon, though she is definitely not a purebred, as she also has the slightly thinner legs and face of her mother, who had some oriental mixed in. A majority of her pelt is snowy white, and her fur is of a medium length, perfect for trekking through the snow. The tip of her tail, however, is a deep black, along with her earths and very thin lines around her golden eyes. The true color of her eyes is a golden bronze, but they are darker than most golden eyed cats, sometimes to the point that they look black if the light is not reflecting on them. Stoatwhisker's face and body are marked with many scars, a testament to both her prickly attitude and the rough life she lives. The most noticeable scars are marks across her hips from where an eagle once tried, and failed, to claim her as its next meal. Thankfully, these wounds are some of her oldest, and are now marked only by the slight raise of her skin and the parting of her fur. Similar, albeit much smaller, lines cross her forelegs. These are all marks of when she and her peers, especially her adoptive siblings, would get too aggressive while sparring. There is another scar crossing the bridge of her nose, this one having been dealt by her own brother, Raptor. She is weirdly proud of this scar, often boasting of how she gave him an even bigger mark to remember her by in the form of a deep notch in his ear. Finally, there is one more scar crossing her cheek, though it is so small and faded that most cats would never notice it. Fittingly, this is also one of the few scars that she does not boast about. Most likely the reason for this is because the scar was the doing of a young tomcat who Stoatwhisker used to tease and bully, and some part of her feels guilty for the fact that he has since disappeared.

Ambitious, cunning, Stubborn, Protective
Stoatwhisker is the sort of cat that you really do not want as an enemy. She is fierce and ambitious, and is not afraid to resort to trickery, deception, and manipulation to get what she wants. She knows the power of a word, and makes it her business to know the deep and dark secrets of those she loves as well as those she despises, just in case the cards ever shift.
Stoatwhisker is also a rather prideful cat, and often puts out an air of superiority. Very few cats are allowed to see through any of her fierce and arrogant armor. Secretly, Stoatwhisker has become such a thorn because she believes it is what she has to do in order to protect herself. She sometimes fears that others will doubt her because of the fact that she was born as a kitty pet, despite the fact that she has absolutely no memory of being in a two leg den, as she was only a moon old when she was taken in by PeakClan.
Stoathwisker also is a firm believer in repaying her debts, which is a large part of why she fights so fiercely for her clan. She knows that she would have died if it were not for her clan taking her in, so she feels she will always owe a life debt to the very essence of her clan. Her belief in debts and favors also means that the few cats she has bonded with she has become fiercely loyal to. However, getting to that point is often a struggle, as Stoatwhisker sometimes fears the implications that could come from her making commitments to someone else.
Another thing that sets Stoatwhisker apart is her peculiar hunting style. She will purposely cause her prey to startle, making them run straight into her claws. From there, her hunting could be better compared to that of a wild fox rather than a warrior, as she is known to rip into her prey without thinking. Because of this, she is often known to return to camp with paws and muzzle stained red.

⌘History⌘
➳Kittenhood (0-6 Moons)
Stoat has very little memory of where she could have come from. What she does know is that she was found, cold, alone, and seemingly abandoned, by a PeakClan patrol. She was brought back by a tom named Rockpelt, who quickly brought her to his mate, Puddlespots, and integrated her into their litter of kits, who were only one moon older than herself. She was named Stoatkit for her resemblence to a Black-tailed Stoat, as well as the joking rumor that she may have been found in a Stoat’s den.
From this point on, she viewed PeakClan as her family, although she was painfully aware that she had outsider’s blood in her veins. When Rockpelt was in the camp, she often followed him like a shadow, trying to learn all she possibly could. When he was gone, Stoatkit would turn her attention to her adoptive sister, Saltkit, who she absolutely idolized. For the most part, she was happy in this new family.
➳Apprenticehood (6-12 Moons)
But soon after she was apprenticed, things began to change. Puddlespots was killed in a border skirmish, marking the beginning of a series of heartbreaks for Stoatpaw and her family. Her adoptive brother, Shiverpaw, was caught beneath an avalanche, and Rockpelt died trying to rescue him. Even Saltpaw, the cat who Stoatpaw idolized and revered as a sister, was turning cold, unable to handle any more heartbreak. Stoatpaw, as she often did, soon followed in Saltpaw’s example, turning herself from the world. Saltpaw was one of the few cats she would speak to, and even that was awkward, with both of them trying too hard not to be attached.
It was shortly before she became a warrior that Stoat decided she needed to know more about who she was. She would never return to the life of an outsider, not since they abandoned her, but something in her had to understand why. Why had she been left?
➳Warrior of PeakClan (12-42 moons)
It was on the day of her warrior ceremony that she began to find some answers. She had been on her way to the Ancient Keeper, ready to make her claw marks, when she was swooped by an eagle, which scored its talons across her flanks. It tried to carry her off, but she bit and clawed her way free, being dropped back to the earth.
She fell into the snow, hurt and dazed, but still alive. But she could not stay awake, and soon passed out.
When she woke, she was in a strange and unfamiliar place, with an unfamiliar cat standing over her. Stoatpaw panicked and attacked the strange tomcat. In her sleepy and hurt state, she thought that he had been the one who hurt her, and that now he must have been mocking her. The pair of them fought, both giving one another nasty scars; a scar across her muzzle, and a ripped ear for him. He was finally able to pin her down, and after a moment more of struggle, she yeilded. But as she noticed his eyes, one a pale blue, and the other a golden yellow, she felt a hint of recognition from somewhere deeply buried in her memories. Allowing her to get to her paws, the tomcat finally explained himself. He told her that his name was Raptor, and that he and his father, Marshmellow, had found her bleeding out in the snow.
But he refused to tell her anything else, insisting that his father would be able to explain everything better. Stoatpaw did not have much of a better alternative, so she agreed to stay and listen to Marshmellow’s story.
He told her about a two-leg family who used to visit the lodge every year, and would bring their two cats, Crysanthemum and Marigold, along. As time went by, Marshmellow and Crysanthemum fell in love, and had a litter of two kits; one a white tomkit with different colored eyes, and the other a she-kit with a black tail. Crysanthemum and the kits went back to her twolegs. At least, that was what Marshmellow had thought. When the twolegs returned, they only brought two cats back; Marigold and Raptor. Marigold explained that only the tomkit had been taken home, and that they had never found the other, and assumed that she had been caught by a wild animal. As for Crysanthemum, she had developed lumps, and never came back from the vet. But, the twolegs decided to leave Raptor with Marshmellow, and the owner of the lodge agree to take him.
But it turns out that the she-kit was very much alive.
Stoatpaw was overwhelmed with all of this information. Suddenly, she knew who she was, but still it did not feel like it should. She had been told she had a mother, only to find out that she was dead. She hardly knew these cats, even if they seemed to know her. Not to mention she had already been trying to harden her heart to everyone else. Stoatpaw told her newfound family that she could not stay with them. She had lived her whole life preparing to make her marks on the Ancient Keeper, and return to the Clan, so that was exactly what she was going to do.
She returned to the clan, and many were shocked to see that she was still alive. She had been gone for half a moon, and most thought that she had to have died, or ran away. But she did not tell them where she had been. Well, there was one cat who she told, Saltfur.
As she had survived her journey, she was given her warrior name, Stoatwhisker.
After this, Stoatwhisker made it her mission to climb upwards in the social ladder, and prove to everyone, and herself, that she was more than anyone could have imagined.
Stoatwhisker remained loyal to her clan for many, many moons, pledging her life to protect her clan, and relentlessly going after any cat that she felt was not living up to their potential. Understandably, this did not always make her the most popular cat. She often butted heads with her clanmates, and was not afraid to tell others what she thought, even if it meant being insulting, rude, or downright mean. Stoatwhisker did not like to admit it, but she was actually effected quite a bit by the sudden disappearance of BlackStar, as he had been leader for nearly her entire life, and she had always looked up to him. Still, Stoatwhisker swore to protect the new leader, CraneStar, and make her see that Stoatwhisker deserved to be placed in a position of power. CraneStar did not always seem to appreciate Stoatwhisker's attempts, often pushing her off, or allowing the deputy, Finchsong, to give her menial and demeaning tasks around camp to keep her busy and keep her from getting too big a head. Although it was likely not CraneStar's intent, these menial tasks actually led Stoatwhisker to find something else to occupy her time. In the nursery there was a new litter of kittens, and one of them caught Stoatwhisker's interest. Stoatwhisker bonded with a kitten by the name of Chickadeekit, often coming to spend time with her, tell her about patrols, and best of all, play pretend. Chickadeekit wore the name of ChickadeeStar, while Stoatwhisker was a jealous rogue. It only stood to reason that she would soon be made the young she-cat's mentor.
Stoatwhisker's life, as well as the lives of all her clan mates were once again thrown into disarray as only seven moons into her reign, CraneStar died, having unknowingly spent all nine of her lives. What was worse, PeakClan had been left without a deputy, as Finchsong had become very ill in her old age, and CraneStar had not been in a hurry to find her replacement. Stoatwhisker tried to place herself in charge, but was once again ignored, this time in favor of her close friend and medicine cat, Owlmask. Although Stoatwhisker was upset that she was not given the throne, she once again became the leader's personal bodyguard. Unlike CraneStar, Owlmask seemed to appreciate Stoatwhisker's efforts, allowing her to stand at his side, and deal with cats when he was too tired or weak. It was a good thing that the two of them stuck together, as it also meant that they were in the same group when the clan became scattered following an avalanche on their camp. What small normalcy Stoatwhisker had found was once again torn apart. Her apprentice, Chickadeepaw, was separated from her, not known to be dead or alive. Owlmask was blinded. Her other friends, Maplecloud and Tigeroak, were both greatly injured. All of Stoatwhisker's political rivals were either missing, injured, or dead. Stoatwhisker would finally have her chance to lead.
However, despite everything, Stoatwhisker found herself still turning to Owlmask. She remained his bodyguard, now becoming his guide as well. She gave direction to their tiny group, but he was still the one who knew where they were going. The little group wandered in the mountains for a few moons, losing a few cats to illness, and gaining someone else in the form of a loner named Golden, who Stoatwhisker would take as another apprentice.
➳Warrior of OakClan (42-Current)
Finally, the wanderers found their way home, but they found that much had changed while they were gone. Their camp was almost completely gone, and their surviving clanmates had practically assimilated into the other clans, even forming a new clan by the name of OakClan. PeakClan was no more than a memory now. Some of the cats that Stoatwhisker believed to be dead, among them her own apprentice, Chickadeepaw, were found to be very much alive, but it was hard for Stoatwhisker to come to terms with how much they had moved on with their lives. In her absence, Chickadeepaw had received a warrior name, and was now known as Chickadeepeak.
At Owlmask's urging, Stoatwhisker decided to pledge herself to OakClan. After all, it was the closest she could come to being home again.
In OakClan, Stoatwhisker found her footing surprisingly well, though it was clear to all that she would never feel as secure there as she had in the mountains. And, just as she had with all the leaders she had served in the past, she wasted no time in becoming a known presence to BumbleStar, and telling her very loudly, and often, how she thought things should be done. At the same time, Stoatwhisker was reconnecting with an unknown part of her past in the form of her younger half-brother, Whitemoth, and his kittens, Nectarkit and Vinekit. She brought the three of them into OakClan, where she began to teach them about the old ways of the mountain.
Unfortunately, with the budding of PrairieClan, things became a bit more complex for Stoatwhisker. Nectarkit decided she would go to PrairieClan and be with some of the cats who had helped to raise her when she was a kit, such as Panther or the kitty pet Mr. Nakey. Stoatwhisker, however, could not believe that her niece would willingly abandon her, and instead accused PrairieClan's leader, TulipStar, of kitnapping. The angry Molly attacked the leader, causing her to lose one of her lives. When her crime was discovered, it was decided that Stoatwhisker would not be exiled, but instead be kept under close guard, especially by her once close friend, Owlmask.
Stoatwhisker resented the fact that Owlmask was being placed as her babysitter. She felt that he had failed to support her or stand up for her against BumbleStar. The two of them fought (With words not claws) until they reached their breaking point, both admitting that the reason they were so angry with one another is because they had once believed that the other would one day be their mate. Owlmask admitted that he was jealous of Whitemoth, as he was unaware that the closeness between Stoatwhisker and Whitemoth was one of siblings, not of lovers. Stoatwhisker admitted her fears of being abandoned.

Until I was 12 Moons Old, I never knew my real parents. I knew I had to have them of course, but I never knew who they were, or anything about them. Now that I have seen them, or...well, now that I'[ve seen my father at least, he seems nice enough...but I can never be the sweet little daughter he was hoping for. I can't go back to a life I was too young to remember, not when PeakClan has done so much for me.

She would be a white Norwegian Elkhound
She would be into competitive chess and fencing.
She would have a tattoo of her emblem on her back, and something to represent her apprentice, Oakpaw on her lower arm.
If Oakpaw had a prothetic, she would help him to decorate it with painted 'tattoos'.
