SPARKFIRE
*
{✿·✿·✿}
]|✿|[
Male : 23 moons at death : Dark Forest - formerly ValeClan : Straight
Appearance: {Muscled ginger tabby tom with long limbs}
Sparkfire isn't the generic ValeClan cat, with broad shoulders; muscles legs and a slightly taller frame. It appeared to come from the unknown kittypet father, as his brother and sister didn't share the frame, which came as a surprise. Regardless, he was still swift, using his muscles to propel himself while running. He keeps his claws sharpened using rocks around the camp.
Sparkfire's fur is often well groomed as it is very short, which is helpful in the hot weather. His tabby stripes are classic and wiggles, almost like tongues of fire.

Personality:
{briefly; Nihilistic, Angry, Loyal, }
Sparkfire has always been violent as a kit and eventual warrior, although this was exacerbated by treatment given by the clan, and then the she-cats that he found and treated badly himself. He didn't bother to change his fate, viewing it pointless, and then apathetically lived out his life believing that he was destined to be evil. Despite this, he wanted to defend his clan with his life, proving that he wouldn't leave like his mother. This moral high ground eventually started to fade although he would always represent his clan in battle. Despite his obvious anger and wrath, he is very patient, letting others talk to him with ease, and is surprisingly good at putting up with any crap given by apprentices and other cats. He is able to talk rationally to defend others and explain, although he often doesn't give them the time of day. When he does, he's very good to listen to.

History:
Sparkkit was the oldest kit of Blossomfur, born to an unknown father. It was well known that the father, whilst unknown to the clan, was the kittypet friend of Blossomfur. The she-cat had been adamant that she was justified, and shielded her kits, teaching them to protect themselves at all costs. It was this mentality that influenced Sparkkit, as he became defensive and took after his mother.
Sparkpaw was assigned to Hareleg, who he found to be a pushover at first. The apprentice grew bored of the slow teaching and pushed himself, doing lone training when possible. Hareleg eventually noticed and tightened his hold, but almost too much. He now became like his normal self - pushy, demanding and vicious. Sparkpaw liked this at first but it quickly began to drain him, leaving him exhausted. Resentment began his mentor began to build - it felt like the whole Clan was against him.
When he was 7 moons, a dog attack incited by Blossomfur led to the death of his brother, Brightpaw. In fury, Blossomfur disowned StarClan before fleeing, never to be seen again. Whilst Swiftpaw was greatly shaken and determined to hide her feelings, Sparkpaw became more violent as he lashed out. He saw this as impossible. Evil blood ran in his veins - he would turn out like his mother, so why bother to fight it?
Sparkfire and Swiftleap became warriors at the same time. Around this time, he realised he was being left behind. Swiftleap's calmer demeanour meant she was talked to more, leaving Sparkfire alone. To compensate, he began seeing a she-cat from ShellClan to suffice for the loss. She seemed devoted and he adored it. He never intended to love her, however. She was just a distraction. It wasn't long before he found out she was expecting kits. He couldn't have this - more evil would spread, and he wouldn't be able to control it. To pass this, the next time he met with the she-cat, he gave her prey filled with deathberries. She died right there.
This was the bomb that set off his behaviour. He became calmer to other cats in the camp, eventually attracting the attention of Hollyfrost, a fellow warrior. He, at the same time, met a she-cat from PeakClan and hung out with her to cure his boredom, and so someone who didn't know his past met him. This made Swiftleap suspicious and she began to follow. At one time, she realised who she was meeting from PeakClan, then facing up to him. He refused to see his crimes, saying that he was born this way. Instead, she informed the PeakClan cat at a gathering of what her brother was like. It was culminating more in Hollyfrost's relationship, as Sparkfire was abusing her and it was getting worse. The she-cat didn't believe her and Sparkfire overheard. In retaliation, he attacked Swiftleap to teach her a lesson. He lost - Swiftleap had to kill him in order to protect the she-cat.
After his death, the heavily pregnant Hollyfrost gave birth to two kits - Finchkit and Goosekit. Due to her fear of their father, and the Clan's disdain towards them in general, they were neglected, with Hollyfrost only feeding them. She preferred Goosekit as Finchkit reminded her of their father, which she would happily do without. It was around this time that the twoleg disease hit. Hollyfrost left the nursery other than feeding and sleeping so she could assist her Clan. Little attention was now paid to the kits, and none to Finchkit. Hollyfrost only realised her mistake when Goosekit, left alone and forgotten, starved. By the time this was noticed, it was too late. He was too weak to survive, and wasn't caredfor due to the medicine cat ering busy. This shocked Hollyfrost as she thought the kits were good friends only to realise they had turned against each other for the limited food, with the stronger Finchkit winning.
Hollyfrost tried to resolve to be a better mother to Finchkit, although she already detested her mother for the neglect. The effort didn't matter, as Hollyfrost was killed in a sparring for herbs from PeakClan, as she became desperate when Finchkit contracted the illness. Finchkit died not long after.
