RUMBLEFLAME

Male : 19 Moons : Warrior : Bisexual
Appearance: {A hefty dark reddish-brown tabby tom with fluffy fur and yellow eyes.}
Rumbleflame is a large, slightly chubby tabby tom with yellow eyes. He has dark reddish-brown fur with long stripes across his body. His fur is very fluffy and slightly curly and he has large expressive eyebrows. He keeps a long gold-ish feather behind his left ear to symbolize his warrior ceremony. He found the feather in his nest after his vigil. Although he isn't fully sure, he assumes that his father gave him the feather as a gift. Secretly, it was actually Mudskip who gave him the feather. It is a pigeon feather. Rumble has webbed paws so he actually enjoys swimming on warmer days to cool down or fish. He has roundish ears and a wide muzzle. He is a bit self conscious about his size and sometimes wishes he had a smaller stature or that his belly wouldn't hang so low to the ground. He is definitely bigger than the average cat and could be compared to a mane coon. His size helps him to be rather good at combat. His thick fur suits him well for the generally cold environment and likes it best when it snows, minus the scarce prey and the clumps of ice that stick to his fur.

Personality:
{Soft, gentle, quiet, passive, a little dopey/awkward}
Rumbleflame is an ISFP-T (adventurer) personality type. He avoids any form of confrontation like the plague and is very self conscious and sensitive. He has a big heart and cares a lot for his friends and family. If it came down to it, he would absolutely give up his life to save his clanmates. He is kind of a gentle giant and a sweetheart. He had a great relationship with his mentor and now he really wants an apprentice of his own. He also would like to have kits someday in the far future. With the right encouragement, Rumble could be a great father and mentor, but as he is young still, he struggles with his own self doubt. He has a hard time believing in himself and will often act more like a follower when in situations that make him uncomfortable. He is more likely to run away from danger unless it threatens his loved ones. He tends to live in the present and enjoys the simple beauties of life. He is horribly awkward when it comes to relationships and any sort of romance, but he is very affectionate with his friends and loves close to them. He finds a lot of comfort in sharing tongues, snuggling, and grooming each other. He is very introverted and will avoid crowds and strangers if he can help it. Hence, he loves the idea of gatherings, but being at one makes him very nervous. He is awkward, naive, and oblivious to the point that he comes across as a bit dopey and a lot of things fly over his head. He has a lot of curiosity inside him and loves to hear stories of the old territories. He has a habit of collecting things he finds pretty, and keeps a collection of pebbles, feathers, and the like near his nest. After finding the feather in his nest, he marks every moment in his life he deems important with a feather in his fur. He loves hunting (and eating) and his favorite food is either birds or fish. He has a habit of snacking on patrols. Despite his nerves and doubts, he also dreams of being deputy one day. He’s not sure about ever being a leader as the amount of pressure might crack him. All Rumbleflame really wants out of life is to be happy with his friends and family and to live without fear.

History:
Rumbleflame and his brother, Mudskip, were born to their father, Brownbee, and their mother, Stempelt. Stempelt was a younger cat when she met Brownbee, and the two of them fell in love quickly. Later on Stempelt reveals that she felt rushed into the relationship. A short while later, Brownbee began to imply heavily that he wanted kits. He asked Stempelt over and over again until she finally agreed and had two kits. Rumblekit was named after the first sound he made was exceptionally loud purring. In the present, he still has one of the loudest purrs in the clan. When she first found out that she was pregnant and could still continue her warrior duties, Stempelt began to cheat on Brownbee with a mystery tom. She met with him until she had to stay in the nursery. After her first litter’s birth, Stempelt quickly realized that she wasn’t in love Brownbee anymore. She began to distance herself from him and kept him away from her kits as much as she could. Eventually, Brownbee gave up and waited for them to become apprentices so he could talk to them again. Stempelt did her best at raising them and loved them regardless of their father. She was very kind and loving as a mother, but was overly protective and cautious as they were her first litter. Rumble grew up a very sheltered kit, and becoming an apprentice was a bit of a shock. Finding out that Brownbee was his father was even harder to cope with. Stempelt had told them that their father had disappeared and didn’t matter anymore. He met Brownbee properly during his second day as an apprentice. Furious with his mother for forcing him to grow up fatherless, Rumblepaw vowed to never speak to her again. Even when she tried to confront him and explain herself, Rumblepaw ignored Stempelt. As a young apprentice, he was very shy and anxious and struggled to make friends in the clan with his poor social skills. In the beginning, Rumblepaw hid at his brother’s side for as long as he was able to. Mudpaw usually spoke for him during that time. He eventually became very close with both his mentor and his father, and they helped him break out of his shell a bit. During the very start of her kits’ apprenticeship, Stempelt became depressed at her sons’ rejection. She started meeting the mystery tom again. She became pregnant in the first moon of Rumblepaw’s apprenticeship to the unknown tom with her second litter. She soon gave birth to Sparkkit and Sorrelkit. Rumblepaw was angry at first, but fell in love with his half-siblings as soon as he met them. Though he still shunned his mother, Rumblepaw decided to make sure her new kits would grow up normally, even if they didn’t have a father. During his time as an apprentice, Rumblepaw rarely spoke to the other apprentices and he isolated himself so that he wouldn’t have to interact with them much. His only friends were Mudpaw, Brownbee, and his half-siblings. Later an avalanche struck PeakClan and Sorrelkit was killed by a large branch. Sparkkit was injured, but not fatally. Rumblepaw was unharmed, but crushed by the death of Sorrelkit. Both he and Stempelt became depressed, although Rumblepaw managed to somewhat move past the tragedy with the help of Sparkkit and Mudpaw. When Sparkpaw became an apprentice, Rumblepaw was overjoyed and excited to be training alongside him. Having another companion was wonderful and Sparkpaw made Rumblepaw feel confident and allowed him to test some leadership skills by teaching his younger sibling. Mudpaw, however, had never liked his half-siblings, and was extremely jealous of Rumblepaw and Sparkpaw’s friendship. Mudpaw lashed out at Rumblepaw one night after training. “Whats wrong with you Rumblepaw? Can’t you see he’s to blame here? He’s why mother left us and father. He’s who she loves more.” He had spit, ears flat against his skull. “It’s nice to know who’s side you’re really on.” Rumblepaw cried at Mudpaw’s shouting and tried desperately to convince him that Stempelt was the problem, not Sparkpaw. Mudpaw didn’t want to hear it, and began to ignore Rumblepaw. The fight hit Rumblepaw hard and he started to self-isolate and become more anxious again. After another moon of being ignored, Rumblepaw couldn’t take it anymore. He finally confronted Mudpaw again, starting to feel a little angry with his brother. They had another bad fight and by the end of it, Rumblepaw was in tears, pleading with his brother to see reason. Mudpaw gave in at the sight of his brother crying and began to warm up to Sparkpaw. Shortly after, they were given their final assessment and became warriors together. This is where Rumbleflame is presently. He had just become a warrior and new challenges await him. He is still a very nervous cat, less so than he was as a kit, but more so than he was before the fight with Mudpaw. He has started to feel a bit guilty about ignoring his mother after Mudpaw did the same to him. The seeds of doubt have been planted and he has started to consider forgiving Stempelt. As a young warrior, however, new adventures await him.
