THE STAFF
The Staff here at FAD are here for one thing: to have fun! Like you, we are members, bent on having fun. But there is also some things we must handle behind the scenes in order to make sure that everything flows smoothly. Here, we wanted to post a document to give you a little heads up on what we're doing to make sure FAD stays safe and fun for everyone - and to let you why exactly it may take a certain person a little longer to reply to your posts!
Cat Acceptance
- Accepting and previewing new character profiles
- Editing Clan listings to reflect new, added members.
- Editing the name list in order to keep track of what names are still usable/are in use.
Staff:
Breeding
- Accepting responsibility for accepting litters and keeping track of how many can be born per season per clan.
- Rolling litters with ‘accurate’ genetics for litters born on-site.
- Answering breeding-specific questions on the discord.

Acorn and Store Updates/Item Bank
- Keeping track of members using items purchased from the store, removing them from accounts when they are used.
- Running the acorn count and distributing acorns to members every two weeks.
- Adding/Creating new store items and managing periodic sales on certain items.

Lore and Guides
- Updating the Lore for each of the clans - involving leaders, legends, and individual clan histories.
- Keeping track of changes to rules and discussing changes with other staff members as they are suggested.
- Making Outlines for new rules, charts and lore on-site for other staff to vote on and look over.
- Answering Questions about lore and rules made by members.

Graphics
- In charge of all art made for the site - maps, icons, etc.
- In charge of icons made for the shop, etc.
- In charge of banners and graphics used for advertising the site on other platforms.

Contests | Monthly Updates
- In charge of posting a art/puzzle/writing contest each month for the members to participate in, and distributing acorn rewards connected to these contests at the end of each month.
- Updating clan listing ages at the beginning of each month, removing old posts (not posted in for at least a month) and keeping the side-bar updated on a monthly basis, updating births/deaths/weather etc.

Leadership Mentor
- In charge of specifically helping all members playing leader roles; providing support and being the one who reminds them about mandatory posts and threads, to make sure that they are being active in the position.
- Providing a single-person to access for leadership questions.
- Providing access from ‘Starclan’ members who converse strictly with leaders, spreading prophecies and messages accepted by other staff members for plot purposes.
Staff:
Deputy Mentor
- In charge of specifically helping all members playing deputy roles; providing support and being the one who reminds them about mandatory patrol posts and threads, to make sure that they are being active in the position.
- Providing a single-person to access for deputy questions.
- Providing access from ‘Starclan’ members who converse with deputies, spreading prophecies and messages accepted by other staff members for plot purposes.

Medicine Cat Mentor
- In charge of specifically helping all members playing medicine cat roles; providing support and being in the one who reminds them about mandatory posts and threads, meetings, and to make sure they are being active in the position.
- Providing a single-person to access for Medicine Cat Questions.
- In charge of posting the ‘random illness generator’ on a bi-monthly basis.
- Providing access from ‘Starclan’ members who converse strictly with leaders, spreading prophecies and messages accepted by other staff members for plot purposes.
Staff:
Mentorship Co-Ordinators
- Keeping track of people who are named mentors (if a character makes an apprentice, they are in charge of assigning mentors to them in-between monthly meetings). Making sure that mentors are doing training threads, so that apprentices are ready for becoming a warrior.
- In charge of taking questions and answers, and re-assigning mentors who are no longer active, or answering activity questions.

Territory Monitors
- Keeping track of specific information for each clan, and updating births/deaths etc for each clan for those who update the sidebars and clan listings.
- Doing ‘random events’ sponsored by staff, involving wild animals, weather, etc.

Discord Monitors
- Someone who keeps an eye on the Discord, to make sure that conversations are kept in the proper spot, and to make sure that private information is not being shared where it should not be, or discussions are kept PG-13.

Final Decisions | Strike/Warnings Monitor
- Someone who is in charge of being a mediator between membership complaints.
- Are in charge of informing members and keeping track of warnings, sending polite and complete warnings to rulebreakers in a kind, supportive but non-argumentative manner.
- Brings questions and concerns that members have to staff if they feel it is something that needs a group decision.
- Primarily, in charge of messaging members when an infraction has been made.
