When harvested, the clay is dried and then grounded into a fine powder that is often white in color. It then darkens into a gray color when wet.
Usage: The powdery white clay is mixed with water to create a thick pulp. It is then applied to wounds or cuts. The clay pulp will harden into a concrete-like substance until it is ground down into the fine powder.
Effect: Helps leech out infections and prevent debris from entering the wound. It is also helpful to keep large wounds that are bandaged from becoming infected.

Usage: The stems are clawed off the main plant and the leaves and flowers are stripped from it. This cordage is used like rope.
Effect: It helps hold materials together, such as sticks against a broken limb.
Warning: Bindweed contains alkaloids, which is toxic when ingested. Remember to store Bindweed high up to prevent young cats from ingesting the stems, leaves, or flowers.
*Bonus: Bindweed is great for reinforcing handmade walls and can also be used to keep smaller predators at bay by cutting the stems and smashing the leaves and flowers to create a poisonous barrier.

Usage: The stems are clawed off the main plant and the leaves and flowers are stripped from it. This cordage is used like rope.

Bentonite Clay
Location: Found underwater in the ocean. Often around Featherfoot Cliff. The clay must be harvested on the far side and is often risky to harvest due to the frequency of sharks. But a lot goes a long way. The clay must be carved out of the rocky surface of the cliff and then carried to land to be further processed.
Appearance: Before harvesting, Bentonite Clay can vary in color. It can be white, pale blue, green, cream, yellow, red, or brown depending on how weathered it is. When harvested, the clay is dried and then grounded into a fine powder that is often white in color. It then darkens into a gray color when wet.
Usage: The powdery white clay is mixed with water to create a thick pulp. It is then applied to wounds or cuts. The clay pulp will harden into a concrete-like substance until it is ground down into the fine powder.
Effect: Helps leech out infections and prevent debris from entering the wound. It is also helpful to keep large wounds that are bandaged from becoming infected.
